How to Add and Invite Team Members in askROI

Welcome to our guide on managing your team in askROI! Whether you’re expanding or bringing in new collaborators, this guide will walk you through the steps for managing team members seamlessly.

 

Before You Begin

 

Before adding or inviting team members, make sure you:

  • Have admin or owner permissions.
  • Check your subscription plan and available seats.
  • Have your team members’ email addresses ready.

 

Managing Team Seats

 

Checking Your Current Seats

Click Settings in the left navigation bar.
Select Members to view your current seat allocation and usage.

In the blue box, you’ll see:

  • Total available seats
  • Currently used seats
  • Monthly cost per seat

 

Adjusting Seat Count

1. In the Members section, find the blue box with your seat information.

2. Click the Adjust Seats button.

3. Use the controls to modify your seat count:

  • Click + to add seats.
  • Click - to reduce seats.

4. You’ll see real-time cost updates as you make changes.

5. Once satisfied, click Confirm Changes to finalize your adjustments.

 

Inviting Team Members

 

Before Sending Invites

Ensure the following before sending invitations:

•You have enough available seats.

•You’ve decided on the roles for each new member.

•You have your team members’ email addresses ready.

 

Sending Invitations

1. Navigate to Settings → Members → Invitations.

2. In the invitation section:

  • Enter the email addresses of your invitees (separate multiple addresses with commas or spaces).
  • Select the appropriate role for each invitee from the following options:
  • Owner: Full system access and administrative control.
  • Admin: Can manage users and most settings.
  • Member: Standard access to features.
  • Editor: Content creation and editing privileges.

3. Click Send Invitations to send the invites.

 

After Sending Invites

Once invitations are sent:

  • Invitees will receive an email with instructions to join.
  • Invitations expire after 7 days.
  • You can track pending invites in the Invitations tab.
  • If needed, you can resend or cancel invitations.

 

Managing Existing Team Members

  1. View all team members in the Members tab.
  2. Adjust roles and permissions as necessary.
  3. Monitor seat usage and activity.
  4. To remove a member, click the three-dot menu next to their name and select Remove.
