Mastering Knowledge Bases in askROI

Organize your important documents and files in askROI's Knowledge Bases, your personal digital library.

Knowledge bases help you organize your important documents and files in askROI. You can access and manage them in two ways: through the chat interface or the main knowledge base section.

Accessing Knowledge Bases

1. During chat: Click the "Knowledge Bases" button located beneath the chat input box to quickly access your knowledge bases.

2. Main access: Click on "Knowledge Bases" in the navigation menu on the left side of your screen to view and manage all your knowledge bases.

3. Use the search box at the top to quickly find specific knowledge bases by name or description.

4. You can sort your knowledge bases by name or by the last updated date.

Creating a Knowledge Base

1. Click on "Knowledge Bases" in the left navigation menu.

2. Click either the "New Knowledge Base" button in the top-right corner or the "Create Knowledge Base" button in the center of the page.

3. Enter a clear, descriptive name for your knowledge base in the "Knowledge Base Name" field.

4. Add a brief summary in the "Description" field to help you and others understand what the knowledge base contains.

5. Click "Create" to generate your new knowledge base.

Managing Your Knowledge Base Content

1. After creating a knowledge base, you'll be taken to its contents page.

2. To add content, click the "Add Files" button in the top-right corner. You can:
   - Upload individual files
   - Upload entire folders
   - Add URLs
   - Add sitemaps

3. You can also drag and drop files directly onto the page.

4. Use the search bar at the top of the content page to find specific files or folders within your knowledge base.
